As a young boy who grew up in the by lanes of the walled city of Jaipur, India, famous for its tradition of hand crafted jewelry since centuries, I was enamored and raptured by it all. Jewelry did not seem a mere piece of ornament, rather in its fascinating colors, intricate designs and master craftmanship, it held within it the stories of the past, the devotion of the artisans to the craft for countless generations and an appeal to the senses of both the creator and the owner of the piece.
